Next to my own artistic practice, I teach at the Latvian Academy of Arts, working with third-year Graphic Design students to develop their ideas and visual language. The focus is on design as a way of thinking. Understanding how form, narrative, and context come together.
At a Montessori School in Riga I work with younger students, introducing them to different materials and techniques. We paint, build, and experiment, with a focus on the process in stead of the result. I approach teaching with a mindset of attention and curiosity.
